Results of 1st Call for Proposal published
We would like to thank all applicants for their submissions. The technical appraisal of the received full proposals has been finalised. The technical appraisal was done according to the established evaluation criteria: relevance, impact, effectiveness, feasibility and efficiency, as well as sustainability.
ECREEE intends to award 41 projects (around 25% of all received concept notes) with an overall grant amount of 1 million Euro. An overview on the approved grants for the individual projects and the final report can be found below. Seven projects could not meet the formal and quality requirements and were exculded. If you do not see your proposal in the list please contact the ECREEE Secretariat: renfacility@ecreee.org.

The ECOWAS Renewable Energy Facility (EREF) is managed by the Secretariat of the ECOWAS Regional Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) based in Praia, Cape Verde. The Facility was established with initial support of the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC), the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and technical assistance of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). ECREEE seeks further partner support for future call for proposals of the EREF.
The EREF project manager will be recruited in the course of 2011. In the meantime, questions can be directed in written form to the EREF preparatory team or the responsible National Focal Institution in the ECOWAS coutntry.
